In December 2023, the Queer Education Initiative Foundation (QEIF) conducted three sensitization programs as part of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts within Bain & Company , spanning across three of their branches situated in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore. These programs were designed to raise awareness and promote understanding regarding various facets of identity and an overview about the LGBTQ+ community.

During these initiatives, trainers from QEIF delivered comprehensive overviews on the complexities of personal identity, the challenges associated with the coming out process, and crucial nuances to consider when communicating about LGBTQ+ individuals. The sessions were structured to educate participants on both the importance of sensitivity and the potential impact of language choices, emphasizing the significance of fostering an environment of respect, understanding, and acceptance within the workplace.
