Samwaad, Queer Conversation for allies was an event which in very short can be referred to as a gender sensitisation program. It is difficult to have allies and / or Cis-Het individuals to take time, sit, and understand about the LGBTQ+ Community. Knowing about the community is one thing, and sensitising yourself towards the community is different. The event had around 35 individuals from different areas, with different ages, and different experiences. The two hour session included things like sensitisation activities, module explanation, etc. At the end, questions were answered, and doubts were left unaddressed as to why a mere identity and/or orientation is an issue out there in the society.
